How do I purchase a cinema ticket?

It’s simple! Once you’ve made it to the film page with all the nearby cinema listings, choose your preferred cinema, date and time, and click ‘Book now’. To keep your payments secure we will ask for your name and email and then you can complete your purchase with Stripe (a 100% secure payments platform) used by online businesses globally.

Do I need to set-up an account?

Not necessarily. You can book a ticket as a guest, but if you like you can sign-up to an account with We Love Cinema Ltd trading as usheru.

Which cinemas will accept a We Love Cinema Ltd. e-ticket?

We are currently only operating this service in the Republic and North of Ireland. All cinemas showing the movie in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland are listed in the site. Cinemas with a 'Book' icon are fully bookable from the site and the e-ticket generated will be accepted at that cinema.

What if a cinema doesn’t have the “Book” icon or say “Book Now”?

If your preferred cinema does not have a “Book” icon or “Book Now” button, you will see instead a “Buy Tickets” button. When you click this button, it will redirect you to the purchase page of that cinema for the promoted film. If you book it this way, then you must contact that cinema with any issues.

Where is my e-ticket?

Once you have booked your ticket online, you can instantly print off your e-ticket and keep it safe and sound until the screening! You will also receive a confirmation email (and a reminder email on the date of screening) for your purchase which will include a copy of your e-ticket. You can present either versions of your e-ticket at the cinema box office. Both on phone and printed e-tickets are acceptable. Remember, the confirmation and reminder emails will both go to the email address that you give us, so make sure you can access that email address.

How can I retrieve my e-ticket?

All you need to do is access the email you provided in the booking process and your e-ticket should be sitting in your inbox (don’t forget to check the promotions and spam boxes!). If you still can’t find it and you’re sure you completed the transaction, drop us an email at hello@usheru.com and we’ll see if we can find it for you.

I can’t seem to book for my local cinema. Why?

It seems your local cinema hasn’t agreed to sign on with us just yet. However you should be able to see the listed times for your cinema regardless. If you cannot book through us for a cinema, the ‘Book Now’ button should be replaced with ‘Buy Via Cinema Website’ which will redirect you to their website where you can book. Hopefully though, that will soon change!

What films can I buy tickets for?

For the purposes of this website you may only purchase tickets for the film that is promoted.

How many tickets can I buy? Is there a limit?

The only limit is how much your wallet can handle!

Can I buy tickets for my Mum/boyfriend/hairdresser/other important people?

You sure can! And you should. Just make sure that they have the e-ticket to present at the cinema to be scanned. You can even just forward them the confirmation email (which will include your e-ticket) if you are buying on their behalf. You do not need to show the credit card with which the ticket was booked.

Will We Love Cinema Ltd charge me for its service?

No, We Love Cinema Ltd is completely free for users. As is the industry standard, we charge a booking fee similar to that which you would pay directly online with the cinema. This is to cover the transaction costs on our side. The booking fee is additional to the cost of the cinema tickets you have decided to purchase.

What payment types does We Love Cinema Ltd. accept?

We Love Cinema Ltd. accept credit card and debit card payments and we use Stripe to process your payments safely.

Do you store my credit card information?

We do not store your credit card information in our system. We use Stripe who handle all our payments and they are the best in the business at card protection. You have the security of their system to rely on to keep your data safe.

Will my data be secure?

Yes, we at We Love Cinema Ltd. value your privacy. For more information see our privacy policy

Is there a credit card booking fee?

Yes, for most purchases online, our standard credit card administration booking fee is €0.80 to cover transactional costs.

Can I return/cancel ticket purchases? Will I get a full refund?

We do not accept cancellations unless it is under the circumstances that outline your entitlement to a refund, such as situations where the screening is cancelled, or what is offered to you onsite at the cinema does not match as advertised for purchase. However, we do abide by the refund and cancellation policies for each individual cinema. If you are seeking a refund, contact us here stating your reasons and depending on the cinema's policy on refunds, we will let you know what we can do. The page crashed while I was booking tickets. Why?

That’s a very good question. Can you contact us here and try tell us as much information about what happened and we will stamp on that little bug.

The staff in the cinema refused me entry. Why?

There could be a few reasons for this, any of which should have been explained by the cinema usher: Your ticket was for a different cinema, screening time or date than the one you showed up for, the ticket was invalid due to a processed refund, or there was an anomaly in the system. If it was the latter, shoot us an email here and we’ll try get to the root of the problem!

I booked a ticket, where can I find it?
