Cookies are set for an specific domain, for example, usheru.com. Only the owner of a domain can read the cookies associated to that domain. Therefore, we can't read any cookie that hasn't been set by us. Because we don't have code snippets in almost every website online, like Google and Facebook do, we can't really do anything outside our site. Specifically, by using our own cookies, we don't advertise products to you based on your browser history.
Cookies are small text files that are stored by the browser (for example, Internet Explorer or Safari) on your computer or mobile phone. They allow websites to store things like user preferences.
We use Google Analytics, an analytics service provided by Google, Inc. The information stored in the cookie is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States and then used to evaluate visitors' use of our website and to compile statistical reports on website activity for us. By using this service, some cookies are set on our own domain (so we can read them) and some on domains owned by Google, which we cannot read: google.com, google-analytics.com, doubleclick.net, gstatic.com and others. (NOTE: We actually don't use Doubleclick, an advertising product from Google. However the software from Google Analytics will place cookies for this domain, and others, so if the next site you visit uses these product instead of Google Analytics, they will still be able to know that you have previously visited us).
For more information on Google Analytics cookie usage, please visit their website.
We also use Google Maps API. We use it when we place a map of the cinema you are visiting, or for enabling the widget that allows you to search for cinemas or movies on a particular location. Google place cookies on maps.googlepapis.com so they can know you have visited our site when you browse a different one also using Google Maps (or any other Google product, as we have seen above).
We use Facebook Conversion, an analytics service provided by Facebook, Inc. This allows us to track those visitors who have been referred through a Facebook page, application or advertisement and then contacted us through this website. We will share information regarding your visit to our website with Facebook but this will not include any information specific to your application or other personal information. Facebook will use this information to monitor on our behalf the effectiveness of our advertising and applications.

We use a cookie called JSESSIONID to store information about your session state, so when you browse several pages from our site, they all know things like what cinema have you previously selected, what movie, or how many adult tickets you want to buy.
Depending on our current load, we may use several from end machines to serve our content. We use a cookie called AWSELB so our load balancer remembers what specific front end machine you are using, so it always sends your session requests to the same machine.
If you log in to our site, and click the "Remember Me" option, we place a cookie called R so we can recognize you the next time you access our site and log you in automatically.
We use a cookie called Service Worker to advertise you our Android App if you browse our site from an Android machine.
It is usually possible to stop your browser accepting cookies, or to stop it accepting cookies from a particular website. However, we cannot tell if you are signed in without using cookies, so you would not be able to purchase tickets or perform any other task that requires registration. Also, information from one page to the next one would get lost, so your experience would be impacted.
All modern browsers allow you to change your cookie settings. You can usually find these settings in the 'options' or 'preferences' menu of your browser. To understand these settings, the following links may be helpful, or you can use the 'Help' option in your browser for more details.
